Oxygen (Sedan)

The Oxygen platform is the Atomic Motorworks sport sedan designed to serve as the most versatile vehicle in the lineup. While the Carbon platform represents the pure driver’s coupe, Oxygen is engineered to balance performance, daily usability, passenger space, and long-distance comfort without losing the mechanical feel and durability that define Atomic Motorworks vehicles.

Oxygen is built on the idea that a sedan should be capable of doing almost everything well. It must be comfortable enough for daily commuting, stable at highway speeds, capable in poor weather, and still able to perform in demanding driving environments such as mountain roads, long-distance travel, and road course driving. The platform is designed to provide predictable handling, strong braking performance, and consistent cooling so the vehicle can be driven hard when needed, but remain comfortable and usable as a daily driver.

This platform serves as the most balanced vehicle in the Atomic Motorworks lineup. Where Carbon is focused primarily on driver engagement and Nitrogen is focused on lightweight performance and rally-inspired capability, Oxygen is designed to be the vehicle that most owners can use every day in nearly all conditions. Passenger space, trunk capacity, ride quality, and noise control are improved over the coupe platform, while still maintaining a performance-oriented chassis and drivetrain layout.

As with all Atomic Motorworks vehicles, the Oxygen platform is designed around long-term serviceability and shared engineering architecture across the vehicle lineup. The goal of the platform is to provide a sedan that can be owned and maintained for many years, adapted to different use cases through trim configurations, and used as both a daily driver and a performance vehicle without requiring multiple specialized vehicles.
